Remove the faceplate of your quick connect accessory

Remove end caps from your accessory and thread them onto your heating cable

Cut your cable to create a clean end

Measure 3/4″ from the clean end, score the top, bottom, and side of the cable. Carefully, remove the protective insulation

Peel back the protective braid of the insulation cable

Unscrew inner screws of your accessory

Insert the stripped end of your cable into the accessory and re-screw the inner screws

Clip and screw your endcaps back to your accessory

Remove screws from your end seal

Attach the unscrewed rubber seal and outer to your heated cable

Measure 3/4″ on your heated cable, score the insulation at this point, and remove the insulation

Peel back and trim off the braided protection

Insert the heated cable into the end seal

Screw the rubber seal and outer shell back into the end seal

Remove the cover from the connector. With the splice kit, you will only need to open the front cover. With the tee kit, you will need to open the front and back cover

remove the waterproof gasket and cover from the connector and place them onto the heating cable

Remove the outer cover of the heating cable

Push back the braid of the heating cable, create a small hole in the braid using a screwdriver, and pull the heating cable through this hole

Twist the braid into a usable conductor

Score the heating cable and remove the white insulation jacket, as well as, the connective insulation between the heating cores

Position your wires inside of the connector, unscrew the terminals, place the wires underneath the terminals, resecure the terminals, and clean away any excess wire

Reattach the wire gasket and cover to the connector
